telephone numbers, through our online registration system and in person. We do not collect full postal addresses. We
use e-mail addresses to communicate with participants about present and future events. If you are no longer interested in
receiving these communications, contact us at events a getlostxx.com and we will remove you from
our contact list immediately upon receiving your request. We may use your telephone number(s) in emergencies.
We do not share this information with anyone, except as required by law.
We do not collect or save payment information. All payment processing is done by
PayPal, Inc. (a division of eBay) or Google Checkout, a service of Google, Inc.
Our registration system uses Secure Sockets Layer. We give our users an option to
save personal data on the website by creating a username and a password. We take reasonably necessary steps to keep the
login information and the personal data secure from third parties. Passwords are stored with SHA-1 encryption.
Your full name and year of birth, as given to us, will be published in the event
results, which may then be copied by third parties and preserved for a long time.
We take photographs of participants at our events. In the process of registering for
each event, participants are asked to sign an image release form. If you agree, you allow us to use your image, but not in
conjunction with your name, in the event report and for promoting future events. This authorization only applies to a
single event and is not valid for photos taken at other events. The release authorization is not required in order to
participate. In select situations, we may ask you in person to use your name in conjunction with your image.
